MUNICH, Germany (AP) - The UEFA Champions League semifinals begin on Tuesday with a bang as Bayern Munich host Real Madrid in a matchup between two of Europe's most storied clubs.
The first leg of the semifinal between Bayern and Madrid kicks off Tuesday at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Bayern, the defending Bundesliga champions, come into the match in good form, having won their last three matches in all competitions.
Madrid, meanwhile, are also in good form, having won their last four matches in all competitions. The Spanish giants will be looking to avenge their loss to Bayern in the semifinals of last season's Champions League.
Bayern have made three changes to the team that started last Saturday's 2-1 Bundesliga win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Forward Jamal Musiala and winger Leroy Sané have recovered from injuries to start, while midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has been dropped to the bench.
