First Look at New Dome Structure in Downtown Shreveport

The Goodman IMAX Dome

Over the next two days, a 20,000 square foot dome is going to be rising from a parking lot at the corner of Milam and Crockett streets in downtown Shreveport.

The Goodman IMX Dome is the only IMAX within a 200-mile radius of Shreveport and is the only IMAX dome.

This is the first time downtown Shreveport has seen a structure like the G-Dome and people are excited.

Sci-Port Discovery Center

Sci-Port Discovery Center is a 92,000-sq-ft Complex with interactive science exhibits, a planetarium, and an IMAX.

The 4k laser projection system is equipped with IMAX technologies capable of filling the whole dome.
